About the event
Crime evening on KVUC with Lindhardt and Ringhof and Saxo
How does a thriller come about? Where do the ideas come from? And what drives authors to tell the stories they do?
That was the turning point when Anders Ibsen participated in Lindhardt and Ringhof's and Saxo's crime evening at KVUC in Copenhagen. Together with some of Denmark's most popular crime and suspense writers, he talked about the work behind his debut novel SIRIUS – Det, som overfalder dig .
On stage, the authors were interviewed about their latest books, the inspiration behind the stories, and the process that goes into creating a believable and compelling universe. The audience got an insight into the thoughts behind the characters, the research, and the choices that shape a suspense novel from idea to finished book.
The evening offered great conversations about the craft of writing, meeting readers, and the many different ways to create stories that keep the reader captivated until the last page.
Other participants on the evening: Lone Theils, Sarah Engell, L. Sherman, Anne Mette Hancock and Leif Davidsen.
