I don't get to read all the books I want to. Or should. The other day, however, I read the brand new suspense novel "Det, som overfalder dig" as a prelude to an interview with the author Anders Ibsen from Falster, now living on Lolland. It was a good experience to immerse myself in a real book for a whole day and put the screens away for a while.
Anders Ibsen is a former officer in the Sled Patrol Sirius, Denmark's Arctic special operations force in Northeast Greenland. With his new suspense novel 'SIRIUS – Det som overfalder dig' he provides an insight into the world in which the Sled Patrol live.
“He crawls through a snowstorm, is about to fall through a glacier, gets buried in an avalanche, and falls through the ice,” Anders says about the novel's protagonist.
