  • Om Anders Ibsen | Anders Ibsen

Om Anders Ibsen: tidligere Sirius-officer og FN-soldat med erfaring fra Grønland, Mellemøsten og Balkan – nu aktuel som spændingsforfatter. Photographer: Magnus Elander About Anders Ibsen Anders Ibsen, writer Anders Ibsen will debut in 2025 as the author of the suspense series SIRIUS from the publisher Lindhardt & Ringhof. The first publication is titled: “The Thing That Assails You.” The book received an enthusiastic reception and immediately shot straight onto the bestseller lists - for an innovative, gripping and insightful story about geopolitics, terror and survival. Anders Ibsen also knows his literary material in depth, because, like the series' main character David, he himself spent 4 years in the harsh wilderness of Northeast Greenland, far from human habitation, in daily struggle with the capriciousness of nature. This happened as an officer in the Danish Armed Forces at the Sled Patrol Sirius, where 12 men enforce Denmark's sovereignty year-round, as a guard at the Danish Armed Forces' disused airfield Mestervig and on several expeditions by kayak and dog sled in Northeast Greenland. As the son of a former soldier and UN observer, Anders Ibsen has traveled with his family to the world's hot spots: Israel, Egypt, Iraq, Syria and Lebanon, before he himself was sent to the former Yugoslavia for the UN at the age of 21. In total, he spent 10 years in the Danish defense. For the past 20 years, Anders Ibsen has made a career in corporate leadership development, first in the Nordea Group and today as COO and co-owner of a global consulting firm. Master from Aalborg University in Organizational Leadership and Coaching. Since 2015 external lecturer at Erasmus University in Rotterdam. Privately, Anders Ibsen lives in Copenhagen and on Lolland with his wife Vibeke Hartkorn. Together they own consulting firms that provide communication strategy, relationship training and leadership development.
